01/11/2013: Fabtastic Friday

Friday is derived from a translation of the Latin 'Veneris Dies', the day of the planet Venus. Venus was the goddess of love and today is a great day to love your business. If you don't do that, how can you expect anyone else to? Look at all the great work you have done and make sure you tell everyone about it.

Sometimes it is too easy to take what you do for granted. You always do your best to make customers happy and leave them with a great job done. Very often they will tell others which is one of the best feelings in business. Do you manage that process though? Do you encourage and remind people to refer you? Do you make follow up calls months, even years down the road to make sure customers are happy? Satisfied customers can be your best sales team so use them to the maximum.

How about your online presence? Do you regularly publish case studies of sales and work done? Do you write a 'blog to highlight snippets of news? Do you promote your work fully through social media and the search engines? This is all easily done if you have time yourself. If you don't have the time, tools or inclination do make regular updates, you will find that the Village Websmith can offer easily affordable programmes of regular 'drip-feed' information to keep you in front of your buying public.
